The Innkeepers.

Same beautiful French-country inn, same quaint town of Glen Arbor nestled among the thousands of acres of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The only change is the faces of the Innkeepers.

Jeff and Katie Rabidoux begin the new season as your hosts offering delicious gourmet breakfasts and warm hospitality, sharing with you their favorite restaurants, shops, and recreational activities, and assuring that your visit to the Leelanau Peninsula is memorable. Jeff and Katie make a great team. Katie brings great experience in hospitality, owning her own restaurant, working as a chef, and serving in nearly all the local establishments. Her family has vacationed in Glen Arbor since the 1950's, and she's been here full-time since 2002. Jeff, a downstate transplant, came to Glen Arbor five years ago to help market and manage a residential development. He is now a professional landscape photographer and licensed real estate agent who hikes our corner of Michigan in all seasons (and loves golf, too).

They invite you to join them at the inn this year and be part of a new decade of Glen Arbor Bed & Breakfast guests.

The Ladies Aid Society (left) met in our home at the turn of the last century, and the Cottage Bookshop was started in one of the cottages.

Built in 1873 -- we found newspapers in the walls from that year when we did a complete renovation upstairs -- our inn has been a boarding house for loggers, a restaurant, home to several shops over the years, a site for school lunches when the school house was down the street, and a private home, before becoming a bed & breakfast. It was long known as "The Andresen House."

The Owners.

Dear friends since junior high and high school, Larry & Patricia, Gary & Margaret teamed to place their stake as owners in the very special Leelanau Peninsula.

In the compromise of a lifetime, these loyal Spartans furnished the inn in French blue & yellow, which are also the signature colors of the Wolverines. We think you'll agree, through, that the result is comfortable and striking.

Watch for them to spend more time in Glen Arbor and at the Glen Arbor Bed & Breakfast now that they've moved into the next phase of their lives (although no less busy, for sure, with new ventures, grandchildren, and great travels).
