The House.
The Ladies Aid Society (left) met in our home at the turn of the last century, and the Cottage Bookshop was started in one of the cottages.
Built in 1873 -- we found newspapers in the walls from that year when we did a complete renovation upstairs -- our inn has been a boarding house for loggers, a restaurant, home to several shops over the years, a site for school lunches when the school house was down the street, and a private home, before becoming a bed & breakfast. It was long known as "The Andresen House."
