Check-in for the bed & breakfast is 3:00-8:00 p.m. Check-out is no later than 11:00 a.m. If a late arrival is absolutely unavoidable, please tell us as soon as possible to make arrangement; we will have been up since 6:30 a.m. taking care of guests and ask your consideration.

We are sorry, but rooms and suites are usually not available for early check-in or late check-out.

A two night minimum is required for our rooms & suites Memorial Day Weekend, from June 13 to September 1 (except for the Fourth of July weekend) and for fall weekends. A three night minimum is required for the Fourth of July weekend.

Single night stays, when available, require payment of the full tariff in advance. For stays of more than one night, a 50% deposit, applicable to the last night(s) of your stay, is charged with your confirmation. (Deposit, cancellation, and check-in policies for Lane's Cottage and Dean's Cottage reservations are described on the "Guest Cottages" page.)

Full payment balance is expected upon arrival, including 6% Michigan Use Tax.

Bed & Breakfast cancellations are accepted until fourteen days prior to your scheduled arrival, with your deposit refunded less a $25 handling fee. If you must cancel later, including a shortened stay, we regret that we cannot give a refund.
